Anna was a joyful and gentle presence in the work we do with and for women. I knew her as a devoted midwife to her patients, and a strong advocate of the work we did together. She served as a leader in our area, helping other providers, sharing the knowledge and research she had acquired, and patiently discussing cases with new providers in our FEMM network. We had the opportunity to meet in person at our annual training events. She was a beautiful person inside and out, with a gentle and wonderful demeanor and personality. She faced her cancer diagnosis with grace and fortitude. She was and is greatly loved. Memory eternal.
