Anna was beautiful inside and out. I barely knew her, but for over three years, during the summer months I watched her interact with her children, husband, and parents. She always had a smile and a welcoming “hello.” I saw how caring and loving she was with her children, and I know she loved being a midwife. When I told her I had a midwife in a book I was writing and asked if she could answer some questions, she not only answered those questions, she went into detail regarding what a midwife would have with her during a birthing. I can’t believe someone as loving and caring as Anna is really gone. My heart goes out to her mother and father, her husband, and her children.
