In loving memory,

Anna M. Nieboer, age 33 of Kalamazoo, died at home on May 21, 2022 due to complications with cholangiocarcinoma. She was born April 24, 1989, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Dennis and Laurie (Bonnema) Mulder.

Anna’s greatest joy was being married to Andrew Nieboer and raising their four children: Levi (11), Holland (8), Hendrik (6), and Lana (3). She was also a thoughtful friend, beloved daughter and sister, foster parent, holistic midwife, and fierce advocate for the health of all women.

Upon graduation from Kalamazoo Christian High School in 2007, she attended Hope College and graduated in 2011 with her BSN. Anna was a labor and delivery nurse at Bronson Hospital for seven years. After receiving her MSN degree in Nurse-Midwifery from Frontier University, she assisted women and children at Bronson Hospital and Holy Family Healthcare where she helped establish the Novo Women + Girls Clinic. Anna’s love and holistic expertise impacted the lives of countless women, children, and families.

In addition to her husband, children and parents, her family includes; her parents-in-law: Ken & Joan Nieboer; her brothers: Silas (Jennifer) Mulder and Jake (Lauren) Mulder; her sisters-in-law: Alicia (Craig Hoffman) Nieboer and Jessica (Brett) Riggs; 8 nieces and nephews; her grandparents: Katherine Bonnema, Eileen Mulder, Gertrude Nieboer, and Henry & Claire Visser; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
